We are in Florida for a few days en route back to Boston after our trip to Peru. It has given me time to reflect on the trip and to fully appreciate how spectacular it was. Peru is a fascinating place, rich in history, culture, and tradition. We enjoyed the trip immensely and learned much about Andean architecture, lifestyle and religious practices. Your team of providers was outstanding--every detail was attended to and the transfers and guides were warm, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The trip was fabulous. I really think Peru is the place for families and couples to go; I consider it, as I said, a new frontier for travelers.....What can I say,…the Sol y Luna was fabulous! Our cottages were warm, spacious, and very well decorated. Upon arrival, we all just chilled. The girls took naps and my husband and I sat outside by our the Jacuzzi reading and eating fresh fruit. Thank you for arranging that! We were told that Bono stayed in the cottage where we stayed and his kids stayed in the one where our kids stayed.
I have been going to drop you a note since we got home! Seems like it takes a while to get caught up after being away!
Firstly, thanks so much for the bottles of Costa Rican liqueur you gave each of us! It was appreciated by all!
Everything you had arranged on our trip went very well. We had some glitches with flights and luggage but you had no input there! Thank goodness we had that day in San Jose for my sisters luggage to catch up! And also for us to catch our breath. The hotel was very nice and the executive floor perks were very nice. There were a few problems getting home -my sister was 24 hours late getting home!!! We aren't too impressed with United Airlines! And we were short 3 suitcases by the time we got home!! They eventually arrived.

I think that I speak for the whole gang in saying that it was a teriffic trip. We were very happy with the local providers except Buenos Aires. They were O.K. but we had a few wrinkles with them.
El Calafate was terrific. We were very grateful that our ride to Torres was greatly reduced by the "shortcut ride" . The Vehicle cut out approximately 3 hours of travel by traveling on a dirt road for part of the trip. Torres was amazing.
Porto Madryn was equally successful. We had perfect weather and really enjoyed the Whales , penguins and Elephant seals. All of the tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly.
Hotels were perfect. I think the Territorio and the LIA Suites Iguazu were our favorite. All flights were on schedule. The Jeep ride in Rio which we added at the end was gr...
