The trip was fabulous. I really think Peru is the place for families and couples to go; I consider it, as I said, a new frontier for travelers.....What can I say,…the Sol y Luna was fabulous! Our cottages were warm, spacious, and very well decorated. Upon arrival, we all just chilled. The girls took naps and my husband and I sat outside by our the Jacuzzi reading and eating fresh fruit. Thank you for arranging that! We were told that Bono stayed in the cottage where we stayed and his kids stayed in the one where our kids stayed.
If you had asked me what to cut from our original itinerary, I would have told you that I would have forgone the visit to the San Roman farm. In fact, one of my daughters was tired that day and said she wasn’t sure why we had to go there. However, this turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. My daughter even said it was one of her favorite parts. A calf had been born about 90 minutes before our visit. The girls were thrilled to see that. It was really amazing to see the engineering and ingenuity that are necessary to run a farm when other machines and materials are hard to come by. Lunch was fabulous and the conversation was interesting. The girls and I were able to practice our Spanish even though much of the conversation was in English. We enjoyed hearing about modern history and politics of Peru. This was a different experience that we cherished because we enjoy really seeing the culture of the places we visit. I understand that you are personal friends with the family.
Anyway, thank you to you and your team for arranging a very memorable vacation for me and my family. I would definitely recommend your services again. I’m trying to convince friends of mine who always wanted to go to Peru to go soon. They are under the misconception that the area is too commercial now.

The trip was great, thank you so much for your help. We loved Bellavista and we figured out Mindo on our own for a small fee. The people from Condor were very helpful and the hotel in Quito was nice (although a bit chilly at night).
The Galapagos was beautiful our tour guide and the rest of the people from Red Mangrove were great. I can't imagine doing all those transfers when we changed islands on our own. I think the only problem we had was that some of the dinners were lacking in both Santa Cruz and Isabela. We actually skipped a couple even though they were included in favor for paying for something out of pocket at a restaurant in town. I'm not sure what suggestions could be made for this since the rest of the meals were fine and everything else that Red Mangrove did was so great. Please see some attached pics.
