We recently traveled, for the second time in 4 years, allowing Escaped to Peru to coordinate or recent visit to Lima, Peru, Machu Picchu and Nazca/Islas Ballestas. It was a one of a kind experience(again). Everything was organized perfectly like an orchestra. At every point of arrival we were greeted and whisked away by private transport. I will definitely let them organize our next incursion into Latin America. They are well organized, corteous, knowledgable, and enthusiastic.- Tony, Macon, Georgia - March 2014
Everything went great. On the first Friday, I met with our contact from your Mexico people at our hotel and we went through the itinerary. On Sunday, our guide to Edzna (Alfredo) was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. And our experience with Raul (from Mayan Heritage) has been amazing. He was very flexible with our requests, punctual, kind, a safe driver and mostly importantly very knowledgeable. At the end, he felt like family to us. My Mom and sister were thrilled and we have absolutely no complaints.

Hi Jean,Thank you so much for planning such a fantastic trip for us. Thank you also for your attention to detail, and your responsiveness to all of our questions!

We feel so fortunate to have our guides for those days as they were kind, fun, attentive, flexible, and made it such a great experience for us. Our favorite hotel was the Jose Antonio in Puno (what a gorgeous room!). I could go on and on about all the things that we loved, but I figure it would be more helpful to hear what we would change.
Changes that we would have made, and would recommend to future clients are the following:
Dear Jean - well it was a fabulous trip: locations, accommodations, guides and personnel. The hotels were wonderful and we wished we could spend more time in each. Food was great everywhere. We didn't much care for Lima but the hotel and activities were fine - it's that grey weather that was awful.
Refugio amazonas and Moises, our guide, were very special. Fascinating and quite an adventure. We saw lots lots of birds and animals. I thought they boat ride was fun - lots to see including macaws on the way back.
Cuzco and the sacred valley were, of course, fabulous and our quide there, "rose Mary" was incredible. Her knowledge and easy manner were special. We were very impressed with the tourist industry in Peru. The level of education and depth of knowledge of the guides and the overa...
