Almost all airlines allow online check-in and pre reservation of your seats from 48 to 3 hours before flight time. We would encourage you to do this.
Many of our Peru flights are with LAN airlines as well as Star Peru, TACA and Peruvian Airlines. Their online check-in can be found at:
You may also check your Lan and Taca flights by entering your name and booking code into:
What is an E-ticket?
The E-ticket has now replaced the traditional paper ticket which has almost entirely been phased out. Simply take your passport and the Airline Reference Number / Booking Code shown within the table above to the check-in desk and the staff will locate your booking on their system.
You will be issued with a boarding pass as usual. In some countries, for immigration purposes, you are required to show your entire flight itinerary in addition to the Airline Reference Number / Booking Code.
Why have I got an E-ticket?
E-tickets have been introduced for your added convenience as there can be no penalty for mislaid documentation and there is no need to wait for travel documentation to arrive, making last-minute bookings easier to organize.
Some internal and/or international flights may touchdown in other cities en route to your final destination. Please remember not to get off the aircraft without first checking where you are. There will always be the opportunity to ask the flight crew before disembarking.
Flight Luggage Allowances
Please be aware that there may be a significant difference on the luggage allowance between your international flights and your internal flights, particularly if you fly in a premium cabin internationally and economy class internally.
Typically international flights allow 20 KG of luggage in economy and 30 KG in business or first class. Flights that operate via North America often use the piece system and offer an allowance of two pieces of luggage with a weight restriction per bag of 20 KG in economy and 30 KG in business or first class. If your international flights have been issued on a paper ticket then your luggage allowance can be seen on this ticket. Alternatively, if your flight has been issued on an e-ticket then you can view your luggage allowances via the internet, and we suggest you do this as things can change last minute!
Do please check your airline website for up to date information before departure to avoid problems at the airport.
